I will write or sign 1 letters, emails or petitions to advocate my position on plastic-free policies. 

I will use a restaurant's deposit system for reusable cups and/or takeout containers or I will bring my own reusable container to take home leftovers.

I will pick up 3 piece(s) of plastic litter each day and dispose of it responsibly.

I will skip eating out and bring a lunch from home in reusable containers.

I will cut down the miles I drive to reduce microplastic shedding from tires. Alternatives include riding public transit, walking, biking, carpooling and combining trips.

I will spend 10 minutes educating my family on reasons to avoid plastic and how we will do it.

Purchase unpackaged/unwrapped chew treats from bulk/open bins at local shops.

I will give my pets toys made of natural materials like wool, hemp, or cotton, or make our own toys from repurposed items found in our home.

I will use reusable dishes and silverware when eating at work.
