I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 1 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.

I will avoid using disposable decorations, such as balloons and plastic table coverings, for special occasions.

I will write or sign 1 letters, emails or petitions to advocate my position on plastic-free policies. 

I will learn about extended producer responsibility (EPR) policies for packaging and share my position with the legislators who represent me.

I will avoid 3 plastic bags each shopping trip by not bagging my produce or using reusable produce bags.

I will plan an herb or vegetable garden for next year at my home, workplace, or community garden.

I will give up gum or choose gum made from chicle or other plastic-free gum bases.

I will cut single-use plastics out of my morning drink by switching to reusable coffee pods, tea infusers, and bulk beans or tea leaves.

I will call ahead to ask if I can bring my own garment bag to the dry cleaner or request no bag.

I will make  1 of my own cleaning products (cleaners, detergents, soaps) instead of buying them in new spray bottles each time.
