Kevin Burke 2/23/2026 7:38 AMI live in a windy area / development, and I usually pick up what I believe to be from peoples overfilled recycle bins, (plastic bottles, paper, cardboard), so yes, I dislike that its there but I do believe it comes from a positive in regards to a lot of people take recycling seriously in my neighborhood. -
Margo Ashmore 2/20/2026 7:15 AMI agree. It just makes me disgusted that people litter. I have, though, thought that in winter particularly, stuff must fall out of people's laundry baskets on their way home from the laundromat or wherever they wash. I've found single washcloths, single socks, underwear. Or stuff falls out of cars as people get out - most likely at night - ear buds, small tech cables, stuff like that, or hats, single mittens. Hard to imagine that these are willingly discarded. But there's no excuse for tossing half-full plastic drink cups and bottles, or any kind of cans or glass bottles.
