REFLECTION QUESTIONOn-the-goHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
Kendra Durkee 2/11/2025 6:17 AMA lot of fast-food places use plastic utensils and put one in every to go bag. I think a way the community can get away from this, is all to go orders should not have plastic utensils included, and all dine in individuals should use reusable utensils. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeHow has removing your single-use plastics impacted your caffeine routine?
Kendra Durkee 2/11/2025 6:13 AMI love using my Yeti for all of my morning caffeine. I will use it when I go to Kwik Trip for a coffee or while I make one at home! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeBesides having access to fresh herbs and vegetables, what benefits will you see from growing your own garden?
Kendra Durkee 2/11/2025 6:11 AMSince moving into my home in June, my boyfriend and I have always wanted to grow our own fresh items right in our backyard. I believe the other benefits of growing our own garden will be learning to care for it properly and patience while we wait for it to produce items! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeHow difficult (or easy!) has it been for you to cut dryer sheets from your laundry routine?
Kendra Durkee 2/11/2025 6:08 AMI have always wanted to find an alternative to dryer sheets as I would just throw away dryer sheets after their one-time use. Once entering this challenge, I thought it was a perfect time to ditch the dryer sheets.-
Nancy Ninteman 2/11/2025 6:46 AM- 23-DAY STREAK
I've been using the dryer balls now for a few years. I like them and add a drop or two of lavender oil to give a little fresh smell to the clothes. Lovely!

REFLECTION QUESTIONKidsWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) does your household use regularly, and what substitutes are you trying?
Kendra Durkee 2/11/2025 5:59 AMIn my household, we use a lot of snack baggies for fruit, so I decided to start using more glass containers for those items.
