I have the pleasure of having a winter's farmer market in my community which I can save plastics by bringing my own bags and the vendors do not package their good so that saves on plastics as well. We visit the farmer's market in the summer in the community as well. Great job, Osceola!!!

I have really thought about all the plastics in the bathroom. I am going to try shampoo and conditioner bars instead of these items in the plastic containers. I am thinking outside the box and feeling good about it

We've just started with Ridwell, and I think those cereal bags are considered "multi-layer" plastics.

I watched the Plastic Wars documentary and it was alarming. The United States creates the most garbage. Not all recyclables are profitable and despite what I thought not all recyclables are being recycled. Only about 10 percent of recyclables are being recycled but there is a push to make that number higher. I like what they said, "It is time for a change and now is that time." We all need to do our part.
This was a very interesting documentary and well worth watching
