1) Hosted the Breaking up with Plastics webinar in a conference room and invited others to join
2) Schedule on site Lunch and Learn with Hennepin County Representative (Scheduled for April)
3) Reworked layout of Trash / Recycling bins in cafeteria where too much trash was ending up in recycling.
4) Working with operation to ensure vendors deliver certified compostables to cafeterias.

How do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?
I started a batch of Vanilla, so it will be months before I know how it turns out. Happy to avoid a little plastic. And am excited to be able to share it with family when it is done.
Getting less participation from a broad invite than I would have liked. It is possible that those I invited are heavily engaged and this being the 4th year many may not see a benefit. Need to engage others. Will personally invite a couple new team members.
Educate, educate, education. Signed up for Breaking Up With Plastics webinar and invited others to join in. Also created a team for the Plastic Free challenge. In total invited about 36 people to attend both.
