Lisa Hirst Carnes 2/15/2026 3:17 PMI find it hard avoiding water when you're in attending an in-person meeting and they ask you if you'd like a water and they bring you out a tiny plastic bottle. Can't they just serve water in a glass? Now I know not to say yes when I'm at the accountant's office.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodWhat are the hardest scenarios for you to avoid using bottled water? How have you been able to avoid purchasing water in these situations?
Jessy Idiarte 2/15/2026 11:38 AMThe only times when I've had a hard time avoiding using bottled water have been at special events, like concerts or games, as either I have forgotten my personal reusable bottle of water, or I just simply did not want to bring it because of laziness (I did not want to carry it all the time). Most of the time, I can avoid purchasing water at these events (as they tend to be really pricey anyway), but if I'm really thirsty, I cannot help but give in. Overall, I feel like I've been doing pretty well. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeHow have you modified your cleaning routine to make sure you aren't using disposable wipes? Are you satisfied with the results?
Jessy Idiarte 2/06/2026 10:41 AMI have bought a reusable, washable cloth, so I don't have to keep using paper towels or disposable wipes to clean every time I spill water or sauces on kitchen counters. So far, I'm feeling very satisfied as I feel I'm doing something positive for the environment and my pockets by reducing waste and saving some money.
