Sharon Kephart 2/14/2026 7:30 AMMakes me sad to see good clothes thrown into landfills 😔
I use old torn clothes in my crafts and turn them into dog toys, picture frames, ornaments, coasters......endless ideas! 😀

Ashlee Kephart 2/08/2026 6:33 PMLast year I took my lamp to a fix-it event. The chain had broken, and they showed me how to open it up to remove the broken part and replace it. The same thing just happened with a different lamp that has the same chain mechanism, so I was able to repair it on my own this time.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityWhat are the benefits of a sharing economy? How has joining a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with the stuff you use and with your friends, family and/or neighbors?
Ashlee Kephart 2/05/2026 5:57 AMThe most concrete benefits are that it keeps items in circulation and out of landfill for longer, and also saves on money, time, and space. It makes you more aware of the resource cost of each individual item, fighting back against throwaway culture. It also promotes community, both in the sharing mentality and just in getting to know your community members.-
