I will learn about what different descriptions and marketing terms mean when used on plastics.
I will avoid 1 plastic bags each shopping trip by not bagging my produce or using reusable produce bags.
I will ditch the zippered plastic bags for food storage and switch to reusable containers.
I will try a new recipe or food preparation method, such as canning, pickling, making yogurt, or baking granola bars or bread.
I will use reusable containers when freezing food and opt for glass or metal when purchasing new containers.
I will support the sharing economy by joining a community tool exchange, toy library, or buy nothing group.
MNimize works to reduce single-use plastic at food service businesses. I will visit a participating location or tell a business I frequent about the resources available to them.
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
