    • 5-DAY STREAK
I've been successful in avoiding plastic bags while shopping for the most part. We have reduced the amount of plastic water bottles used at work, even though there are still managers who ask for them specifically when they aren't included for lunches and longer meetings.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What are the benefits of a sharing economy? How has joining a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with the stuff you use and with your friends, family and/or neighbors?

I gave away four boxes of books on a neighborhood Buy Nothing group! They were only posted for a few hours before someone claimed them, and were gone the same day.

I wash my sour cream, larger yogurt, etc containers and use them for freezing. I write with marker on a piece of masking tape to label the container so I can continue to reuse it over and over.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

When is it hardest not to use a plastic bag? What can motivate you to stick to your goal in those cases?
