REFLECTION QUESTIONPlastics 101What did you find out about your plastic consumption by using the calculator? What did or didn't surprise you?
Rasmey Sar 2/17/2026 11:43 AMI feel like I need to watch my plastic consumption a bit more... I dont think Ive taken it really into consideration when packing snacks, lunch, just every day things, 365 days a year... wow! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONKidsHow are you able teach your child about sharing toys? Are they okay with letting them live on with other famililes?
Rasmey Sar 2/17/2026 11:42 AMSeparating the toys that our children aged out of was probably the easier part and then when they see new to them toys gifted from family members or their cousins, it makes it easier to donate or give away -
REFLECTION QUESTIONKidsHow did conversations with your family about reducing plastic use go? What common values or motivations do you have to take action together?
Rasmey Sar 2/17/2026 11:41 AMThe talks went well, to a child they dont really understand the impact it has but if we all practice reduction together, it can become the norm for their every day lives -
REFLECTION QUESTIONKidsHow does it feel to have a more or less minimalist baby? Do you feel pressure to have specialty items?
Rasmey Sar 2/17/2026 11:39 AMActually not all that bad - my wife's family is quite large so there are many hand-me-downs that our first and now our second get to use when it comes to toys and clothing. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal CareWhat has been your experience with switching to a plastic-free razor? Was there ever really a need for disposable razors?
Rasmey Sar 2/16/2026 7:19 AMdisposable razors can be nice to have for traveling but at home, the steel razors are nice, a bit more expensive but certainly can last longer. electric razors are very affordable these days. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONOn-the-goDoes your workplace have a good recycling program? What could be improved?
Rasmey Sar 2/16/2026 7:16 AMWe all do pretty well here, I think most people get it and understand what can or cannot be recycled, trying their best -
REFLECTION QUESTIONOn-the-goWhat are some of the unexpected benefits of bringing your own lunch?
Rasmey Sar 2/16/2026 7:15 AMmeal prep definitely can help save money in this tight economy. Definitely will do it more often, Plus I get to each something I really really enjoy-

REFLECTION QUESTIONAt HomeHow do you tackle hang drying clothes during cold winter months?
Rasmey Sar 2/16/2026 7:14 AMIt was one of the more warmer weekends where we took the opportunity to get some fresh air into the house. At the same time figured we'd run some lines and it was fun for the kids -
Rasmey Sar 2/13/2026 9:21 AMIts amazing just how much plastic is in our lives and Im excited to look into these challenges. This caught my eye after reading an article of how over the lifetime of many individuals, someone can accumulate plastic in their bodies that nearly amounts to the size/weight of a credit card....
