I will spend 45 minutes conducting a waste audit- including recyclables and compost- to understand how much plastic waste I create and where I can reduce the most.

I will watch a documentary film about plastic waste with family and friends and talk about what we learned.

The numbers #1-7 on plastics tell us a lot and can help us be better recyclers. I will learn more about what the symbols on plastics mean.

I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases, including produce bags.

Each trip to the grocery store I will purchase 2 products from the bulk section using my own containers.

I will make  1 of my own cleaning products (cleaners, detergents, soaps) instead of buying them in new spray bottles each time.
