Reduce Plastic Container Purchases

I look for ways to reduce my consumption of plastic packaging. I prioritize for purchases grocery items that are packaged in glass or metal. When possible, for grocery items that are only available in plastic, I purchase in the largest single volume possible to economize the use of the packaging.

today I purchased a more expensive grocery product that came in glass instead of plastic so that the container can be more easily recycled when empty
