Put compostable plastics in the right place
I will make sure any BPI-certified compostable plastic products I use will be disposed of correctly by putting them in my curbside compost/food scraps bin or taking them to a drop-off location and not placing them in the regular recycling.

I have participated in the challenge twice in past years and learned a great deal about ways to greatly reduce plastic waste. By participating in past years my wife and I benefited by a change in habits that continue today. I look forward to learning more again this year.
