REFLECTION QUESTIONPlastics 101What are some things you can do to avoid using plastic bottles and plastic caps in the first place?
Grace Wagner 2/05/2025 2:46 PMNot purchasing things that come in plastic bottles.

REFLECTION QUESTIONPetsDoes making your own pet treats seem like a habit you can keep up in the long term? What else can you do to reduce your use of plastic packaging that can come from taking care of your pet's needs?
Grace Wagner 2/05/2025 2:18 PMThis is something I've been doing for quite a while; I anticipate keeping up with the habit long-term. I wish I could purchase pet food in bulk (not in cans or bags that are coated in plastic). I wish I could make a full transition to making pet food from home, ensuring a complete diet full of appropriate levels of nutrients, vitamins for my feline companions.

Grace Wagner 2/05/2025 2:10 PMMany of the challenges are things that I already do. It is difficult to think of things to further reduce my plastic consumption / usage.
I am fortunate to be in a position to make the choices that I do, and live in a city/county/state that makes these choices a bit easier.
The thing that I struggle with is the financial impact that some of these choices hold. But I feel like in the long run it will all even out. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityWhat did you give as a gift? Do you think the recipient has ever received a gift like this before? What did they think of it?
Grace Wagner 2/05/2025 2:07 PMI gave a gift of a home-cooked meal of something my friend and I had never had before. They've received gifts similar from me in the past. I sure hope they enjoyed it. -
