Book Club

I’m in a book club with dear friends who enjoy reading. Because they’re up on new titles, many of these bestseller books are unavailable. I’d like to combine walking and listening. What’s your favorite source for ordering these titles?

There are so many unnatural fibers in our environment. Natural fibers cut down on some of the harm we do.

I carry small amounts of groceries from the store if I’ve forgotten my fabric bag in the car. Feeling virtuous.

I found an awesome clear shoe polish that will allow me to keep two pair of shoes that needed refurbishing. So nice to not need to buy something that may include plastics.

I will give up precooked hardboiled eggs because the plastic bag they come in is multi-layered and cannot be recycled. Plus eggs are cheaper this way.

I returned two unused plastic Bento boxes to the store.

I need to use distilled water for various reasons. The water comes in plastic jugs. Any suggestions?

I've already learned a lot and it's only Day 5!

I still have my synthetic loofah and I'll use it until I can no longer repair it. After that, I won't buy any more synthetic loofahs. I'll use the cotton washcloths I already own.

By growing my own garden, I will attract pollinators to my yard. The garden will feed my family, but also probably a few birds, rabbits and deer!
