I love shopping at the Stillwater Co-op. People are so friendly and now I can buy in bulk. Certain spices (not all) are available and can be placed in small paper bags. I have begun to use my netting bags for produce, like brussels sprouts, that need some sort of container. But the big winner this week were the local eggs, which I placed in my own egg container, for $4.99 a dozen!

Plastic-free challenge is going very well. I make certain that I sort everything for trash and recycling.

I just read the article about placing household toiletries in small containers (toothpaste in contact lens holders, bar soap in Altoids tin, shampoo in an old, small bottle). So easy, and a reminder that the small toiletries in hotel rooms can be avoided. They are not easily recycled.

    Food
How easy or difficult have you found this task? Is there a way you could rearrange your freezer to make this work better?

I have a few glass containers that I can freeze leftover in, or I try to plan using that food within the next couple of days and skip the freezer

I keep my electronic in good working order as long as I can keep them repaired until they completely fall apart

How difficult (or easy!) has it been for you to cut dryer sheets from your laundry routine?

I have never used dryer sheet because they plug up your filters

I agree. I don't understand the point. Actually, we generally hang our laundry to dry. Not only do we not need dryer sheets, but the clothing lasts much longer when it doesn't get pummeled in the dryer.

How do you tackle hang drying clothes during cold winter months?

I don't have a basement, soI have a bar over the middle of my tub, which I hang clothing to drip dry.
