I have begun using laundry detergent eco strips instead of purchasing liquid detergent.

In a fitting finale to the plastic-free challenge, I attended an environmental trivia game night at a locally-owned brewery and my team won 2nd place. My prize was beeswax wraps (yay). I put the beds together last year but got the plants in late and I think they got too much water or the soil needs to be tested because they did not thrive. First thing I need to do is get the soil tested.

Actually I already do this for some things. I shop at Elite Repeat for clothes and Half Price Book for books and CD’s. I don’t normally shop for gifts at used stores.

Nothing! Already using compostable whenever I can!

Overall, I thought the website was not user friendly but being a part of the Plastic-Free Challenge in itself was a good reminder to be mindful of choices I make before purchasing anything.
