Was too busy to be a good host on this. We are doing, not posting. We collect a truckload of plastic every week and recycle it outside of regular pick up and way way more. I would rather put up more solar panels than hire staff to do this work at this time. Too much screen time to do this. Sorry.

Biggest takeaway I got was that recycling should be our last priority, not our first. REDUCE, REUSE, REPURPOSE, RE-anything else before recycle, because the infrastructure isn’t there, since the 70s, and even now, only about 10% of plastic actually gets recycled. Attended “Back-to-basics” conference in Pine River (put on by the Happy Dancing Turtle group. Would recommend next year!!) where we learned about changing signs of the seasons, beekeeping at home, raising chickens, financial resilience, SOAP MAKING, and CANNING!
