When I forget my cup, or decide to buy a beverage despite not having my cup. In addition, I generally choose not to bring my own cup when flying, just to reduce the amount of "stuff" in my carry-on. I need to research my options more thoroughly in this regard.

Having a supply of reusable bags in my car (and backpack) make this relatively easy. A bit more of a challenge will be to shift away from the plastic/nylon of these bags. Is cloth better? Is there a price to pay in the water, fertilizer, etc. needed to produce cotton or canvas? Sometimes it feels so challenging to dig into the base...

Dow bought the rights to Munters’s method and began producing a lightweight, water-resistant, and buoyant material that seemed perfectly suited for building docks and watercraft and for insulating...

Just returned from a weekend road trip. Stopped for fuel and wanted to buy a drink. One station had only two drink options in non-plastic containers. All others were plastic bottles - some recyclable, some not. Another station had no non-plastic containers. Lesson - Relying on my refillable water bottle can avoid purchasing plastic.
