    Hey team, we just dropped to 22nd. There is just 2 days left in the challenge, let's make a final push to check in and record your progress!

    Pal and I picked up trash along Harding street today and prevented 3 gallons of plastic trash from going into the storm sewer. Lots out there to pick up now that the snow is melting.

    We had a reception for our Water Conservation Poster Contest winners and served refreshments using compostable plates and bowls. Costco Business Center has great selection of products, but you have to buy in larger quantities, so I'm all set for the next community party!

    Flossing is a hard habit to maintain for a lot of people! Does making your flossing routine more sustainable give you motivation to keep up this notoriously difficult habit?

    Flossing picks are much easier to use and it is great to have a compostable alternative.

    Hey Team, I see we dropped from 10th place to 20th. :{

    You can ear points by selection actions to take (from Manage Action in left menu)

    And you can earn points by checking in and reporting your progress (from Dashboard in top menu)
    FYI, you can still report progress for past days, just check the past date and "check in" on the action you took that day.

    Below is a snapshot of different ways to ear points from the Dashboard.

    Go Team Go!

    We love Razoko! Compostable and pick part is more durable than other compostable brands.

    We love Hibar shampoo and conditioner bars. They work well on our long hair and dry scalp. Nice mild smell too!

    Our puppy Pal quickly took to the pads and they are so easy to clean. We got out our old diaper pail to soak them as they collect. We've started moving them out the door now that it is warm enough for him to be outside and the pads are heavy enough they don't blow away in the wind.

    How does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?

    Every time I pickup litter off of streets and sidewalks I think of the risks to birds and small mammals, whether it is from eating it or dashing across traffic to check it out, and ultimately fish and invertebrates that will eventually end up eating it when it ends up in the watershed.

      This is a great way to think about it! Each piece picked up is one less hazard for other species!

    What reusable options have you started using to clean up pet hair?

    Vacuum with interchangeable heads so we can use it for floor as well as furniture!
