Windy days, no trash bins by a bus stop and shopping mall means lots of trash by the wetlands. Here's what I got today.

I struggling to accomplish effective actions. But appreciate all emails and ideas about plastic reduction actions. This is a long journey since plastic is everywhere. I feel I'm just starting but at least I started.

It still a working process. Some family members still miss the dryer sheets effect, but we are giving a try.

Today I made sure that my students breakfast cereal containers all got recycled.

I think the benefits from clothes made with natural fibers include: employment and economic benefits in many rural areas that do not have industry. I also like the fact that since my washer and dryer don't capture all lint, any lint that is released to the environment is not hazardous. I just wish cotton was so water intensive to grow.

They work like the non reusable ones. Particularly the scrubs made out of recycled materials

Along with the amount of garbage advantage, it allows me to appropriately portion the right amount of snacks for my kids!
