Thank you for offering the Plastic Free Challenge again this year. It is nice to learn as you participate in an activity that impacts us and the world around us. With our boys still in the house (while on college break/holiday, etc), we passed the challenge along to them as well with hopes they will continue to be more mindful as they go out...

Yesterday and today...my hubby and I were helping one of friends declutter and getting rid of plastic items in their home.

We made it! Great job everyone helping to reduce our impact on the environment and make the world a better place :)

You dont realize how MUCH plastic is used for everything until you start to pay attention.

This has been amazing challenge and I have learned a lot about being plastic free It has been an enjoyable experience

I feel that we need to empower communities to take charge of their plastic waste management. This afternoon I attended an event where they served bottled water. The management of this event most likely is not practicing sustainability or taking a plastic-free challenge that can help reduce plastic waste and protect the environment.

With all this sunshine and melting of snow, the opportunities to pick up litter is everywhere! Make sure to stop and grab a little each day when you see it :)

I was able to visit the Anoka County fantastic recycling center and was able to recycle 15 #5 cups that I am unable to recycle at home I was also able to recycle Christmas lights there. It felt so good instead of throwing them in the trash
