February 12 at 12:56 PMOne pro of avoiding plastic: just not buying stuff in general, especially in the food dept. I've been eating a lot of "old groceries" I had.

February 10 at 3:14 PMReflection from last night - As a commitment to waste less food, I did the ol' throw all of the veggies you have on a sheet pan season with salt, pepper, toss in olive oil and roast the heck out of them. I also ordered some wool fabric from Pendleton to fix a...

February 8 at 3:08 PMCan anyone confirm? From what I understand you DONT need to remove labels from plastic before recycling, BUT it probably makes the recycling more efficient if labels are removed. (Hennepin btw)

February 7 at 7:51 AMGetting set to shop at a new (to me) store in my neighborhood—Marissa's Supermarket. My list is focused on slow, homemade, nourishing food, that's not wrapped in plastic.
