February 24 at 9:57 AMI hosted a small event at my home this weekend, intentionally incorporating the plastic-free challenge into my planning and hosting decisions. Instead of disposable products, I chose reusable options, recycled wrapping paper whenever possible, opted for biodegradable balloons, and passed along decorations afterward for future use. Yay!

February 20 at 7:47 AMSome thoughts: no plastic = healthier food choices! I wish it was summer because I would be having the plastic-free time of my life at farmers markets! Lunchtime sandwiches wrapped in tin-foil are so much more satisfying than plastic-bag sammies! When in-doubt, think of a thankful sea turtle!

February 17 at 7:17 AMWent to a movie yesterday. Knew that the popcorn and soda containers were cardboard but that candy would be a challenge. My solution? Make cookies ahead of time, put them in my pocket, and sneak em' in. SO much better than the overpriced gummy worms that I would have got (which I'm sure probably have a little plastic in them...who even knows...
